Japanese lacquer was once called JAPAN.

Inden" is made by tanning and dyeing "deerskin" which has flexibility and strength, and printing "urushi" with "astringent paper stencils". The name "Inden" was first coined in the 17th century.
The name "Inden" originated from the decorative Indian leather presented to the Shogunate by foreigners who came to Japan in the first half of the 17th century. Japanese people were fascinated by the gorgeous colors of the leather, and the decorative leathers they created with their own ingenuity in various regions came to be called "Inden.
After much trial and error, YASIMA JAPAN has introduced new products made of silk fabric and Japanese paper in addition to deerskin, in order to incorporate the essence of modernity into this traditional technique. While respecting the history of Inden, we have presented products with a new world view.
The lacquer coloring will be developed with a variety of modern vivid colors and designs that have never been seen before in the Inden brand.
We are proposing quality products that add color to modern life through unprecedented coloring, high quality materials, lacquer, and design.
